Started in 2020, we're a woman-founded and women-led company that loves children's literature and firmly believes there's a place on a child's bookshelf for your book. (It's why we were created -- to help authors like you make your story a reality.)
Our publisher, Brooke Gansemer, founded BiblioKid Publishing after self-publishing her own book. She'd spent thousands of dollars creating a fun, engaging picture book to teach kids the alphabet -- only to be met with measly returns of only 7 cents/book from her printer and distributor. Realizing that wasn't a way for authors to make a living - let alone earn back their investment - she found a new way of doing things and connected us to our printer and distribution house.
But having a new production system wasn't enough for us.
We also wanted to make sure that the books we're creating are worth a child's time and something they'll love. (After all, if it can't hold our attention, it will never work on a five-year-old.) That's why each of our author contracts includes the full publishing experience. Because we don't want to just make your book, we want to create the BEST book we can!
Every step of the way has just been awesome! Everything has always been above and beyond my expectations of what a publisher does. The communication was so amazing! I always could reach out with any questions I had, which was great since I'm new at this.
